As I have just read Twilight many parts of this partial book by Meyer were repetitive to me (conversations, aside from occasional input by Edward, were identical of course). I did enjoy understanding more fully Edward's point of view, although I think it is pretty clear in Twilight itself. I gained a better insight into Edward's interactions with his family, especially Alice who is my favorite character aside from the leads. I do think Bella makes a better narrator than Edward, but the perspective change was welcomed.
