Saving Francesca

Saving Francesca - Melina Marchetta Saving Francesca is well-written and realistic. Overall the book is written in a style well-known to readers of Marchetta's: clear voice, characters that feel real and overall realistic events, talk and outcomes. While I found Saving Francesca to be a good book, I was not terribly enthralled with it and I have found other of the author's works more engrossing and touching. It is difficult for me to pinpoint the issues I had with this book because it is well-rounded, I think I just wish there had been more bulk to the novel and more fleshing out of all the stories ongoing.
