While there were a number of plot aspects not tidied up in the final installment of the trilogy, it was still enjoyable. Was I left with many questions? Yes. Is that annoying? Surely. But I am clinging to the hope that the author will perhaps continue the story of at least Chloe and Derek in some future books (preferably when they are adults). The plot aspects not packaged nicely for us by the end of the book included more specifics about Chloe's necklace, Liz--is she sticking around this world or not, Chloe's mom & dad, Tori & Simon being related and the general problem that everyone is still running and hiding from the evil-doers. I suspect Armstrong has a plan for these issues, but it does leave you a tad concerned that you will never know. The actual Edison Group issue involved in the trilogy is wrapped up, however, which must be why it was a "trilogy". As for the characters, I enjoyed Tori's growth and Liz's involvement in the story. My favorite character of the series was Derek, the brooding misunderstood werewolf. What can I say? The brooders get me every time. It'd be great to have an adult Derek involved in future Otherworld books (Chloe too).
