I rather enjoyed the second book in the Outlander series. About half of the book was set in France, which I was not overly thrilled with. But, the setting of France was clearly necessary for the storyline so in the end it did not bother me. I enjoyed the introduction of Roger and Brianna and the mystery engulfing the storyline in DIA. The cliffhanger ending left me wanting more. So all in all, the book was a 5 star for me. Afterall, isn't the point of a good book to leave you wanting more? DIA also made me want to re-read Outlander soon so I can gain the nuances I might have missed.
I usually don't review books so vaguely but it is nearly impossible to properly summarize a Gabaldon book without details that may contain spoilers!
