Texas Gothic is yet another entertaining read from the Goodnight family. Honestly I love this family and would read about any one of them and I certainly hope Clement-Moore continues to write about the family. Daisy continues to be my favorite but Amy is definitely no slouch either. The easy way in which Clement-Moore integrates humor, ghosts, quirky dialogue (and inner thoughts) with a well-written story keeps me glued to the pages. The story is never dumbed down, the vocabulary is stellar (especially compared to other books in this genre) and the additional storyline of romance is always entertaining and humor filled. This family is nuts but in an absolutely awesome way and each book is fun. I definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys humor, intelligent characters and the paranormal.
