I love Stephen Colbert and the Colbert Report. However, I feel as though his humor, along with Jon Stewart's, is best on the shows or in a non-written format. The way in which both individuals convey the ideas and statements out-loud is half the humor in my opinion. So when reading a book such as this I can SEE Colbert's humor and where he is going, but not hearing it really decreases the entertainment value for me. When the library has the audiobook edition available I will listen to that since the audiobooks are always entertaining while the books are a bit of a let down for me. I highly recommend the Colbert Report, but this book is only worthy in audiobook form (I'm guessing based on all the other Daily Show and Colbert books).
