A Mere Formality

A Mere Formality - Ilona Andrews I found this story entertaining and well-written, I especially loved the sci-fi aspect of it. I found the character of Deirdre likable and a good choice as the focus of the story. The "mature" nature the story took surprised me, but it added some humor to the mix. I would have rated the story higher but there were a few info-dumps that I did not feel added much to the story and caused it to drag a bit. I also felt the story needed to be a bit more fleshed out for the ending to be more realistic. But overall I did enjoy it. I think Andrews would do a sci-fi space epic pretty well if the duo chose to do a full-length book.
