This installment of the In Death series was enjoyable but felt a bit less light than the others. This one had a hard edge with Dallas leading the way. The humorous comments were few and far between and I felt overall there were numerous characters acting cantankerous. Dallas was continually suffering from a bad mood in this one, although she had cause she also had cause in other books as well and was not quite this grumpy. Despite this, the story was still good and I enjoyed the new storyline of Peabody and McNabb. As for the audiobook, I absolutely cannot understand the voice used for Peabody. Add to it the fact that her brother does not share her voice at all and I am further baffled.
