Georgia Nicolson is cute and funny at times but overall the book just turned out "ok" to me. The British slang was fun to get to know (there is a glossary in the back), so that did not deter me from this one. Georgia has rather funny moments but I felt there were a lot more lulls in the book where I was bored. I also felt that she was lacking in maturity--something I prefer in a lead character. I think a big issue with the book is that it primarily does not have a plot, unless you count obsessing over boys, how you look and makeup a plot (I don't). The book is cute but nothing to write home about. I will, however, give the series another chance since I have it out of the library already.
