This was a really fun read with lots of snarky banter, which I love. Both characters of Meg and John evolve as the story evolves and they are well drawn. I liked the background to Meg and why she is a blue-haired girl who feels she has nothing to lose. John is a guy that should be in college (on a scholarship no less) but feels trapped in his small town. I could not help but root for both of them, especially since the chemistry Echols wrote was so convincing. I enjoyed every bit of it and look forward to more of Echols writing.
