The Twilight Saga: The Official Illustrated Guide

The Twilight Saga: The Official Illustrated Guide - Stephenie Meyer I only recommend this for the Twilight obsessed out there as this did little to add to the Twilight series for me. It is essentially a book of character bios and a long interview with Meyer. The interview was terribly boring and left me disliking Meyer all the more. The character bios were just a ridiculous effort by Meyer to do what she should have done to begin with: characterization. You are not supposed to do it three years after you finish the series. Plus the bio after bio of characters that barely made a showing, nonetheless a true impact on the story, was maddening.

So much more could have been done with the guide, including Meyer actually finishing Midnight Sun and writing short stories about Bella and Edward (preferably better than Bree Tanner's). For me this was a waste of time, why did it take 3 years after the original expected publishing date to come out?!
