As per usual when it comes to Jeaniene Frost I rather enjoyed One Grave at a Time. This installment focused on a crazy witch-hunting ghost that Cat and Bones have to figure out how to kill. How does one kill a ghost? The usual Cat and Bones humor is sprinkled throughout the book and it left me laughing a number of times. Favorite background characters made appearances as well, although Vlad and Mencheres were missed. Frost extended the series so it would not end until nine books but after reading #6 I wonder why. There were some issues going on in the background of the main ghost story but I cannot see how such issues will illicit enough drama for 3 more books. NOT that I am complaining, I do enjoy the series but I expected some more drama of the personal kind perhaps since the series has been extended.
