The Scarecrow

The Scarecrow - Michael Connelly, Peter Giles I really enjoyed another novel centering around Jack McEvoy. He is a relatable and likable character. I also greatly enjoy Rachel's character, and where there is Jack there is Rachel. There are similarities to The Poet, however, it is not unexpected as Jack is simply the type of reporter/person to get in such situations. I love Connelly's writing style, it is down to earth and entertaining. Connelly took a different route this time and let us know who the killer was throughout the book, a different approach but one that worked. I really hope there is a Jack McEvoy #3 on the horizon.
