I like Tori Spelling and her show with her husband Dean, albeit I don't like to admit to liking the show at the very least (*gasp* reality tv!). But I was hesitant to read Mommywood simply due to the title and the implied topic, as I do not have an affinity for children and feared it would be a book professing how absolutely wonderful motherhood is (*gag*). But for those who have watched her show it is actually more like a behind the scenes or supplementary material to the episodes. Tori's usual humor is woven throughout the book and while there were motherly details I did not care to know, I still enjoyed the book overall. Not great but not bad, middle ground for me.
