This book turned me off due to the elaborate recipes and the fact that there were not many in the book itself. I felt as though it was geared towards people who want to make 5-star restaurant meals, but seriously who wants to do that at home? Plus, it relied on Gardein for many recipes, which is a vegan meat product that Ronnen helped create. I personally do not care very much for substituting meat, I'm fine with the bounty of other foods the world has to offer. Thanks but no thanks Ronnen, just keep cooking for Oprah whenever she decides she's suddenly vegan again.
